TATE AWARDS BANQUET

For many years, the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL) has sponsored an annual awards banquet.  This year (2007) the Louisiana Public Defender Association (LaPDA) was invited to and did join in awarding some "Trustee of Freedom" awards.  (See the LaPDA site: http://lapda.org/lapda_supports_lacdl_tate_awards.htm)  Inasmuch as the awards banquet was November 30, during the Appellate Advocacy Program, many of the LAP attorneys attended.

The LAP director was given the "Trustees of Freedom Lifetime Achievement Award."  Below are three photos from that event.  (Click on any of them for a larger version.)
